On the last day of the road trip, we headed for the International buffet breakfast which is ALOT better in terms of spread in comparison to the breakfast at the club lounge. I guess the only difference is the service as it is quieter up at the lounge. We decided to take light breakfast again before we head for the Teochew Bak Kut Teh. We managed to find out about this BKT where we first stayed at La Boss Hotel which is just next to it. This is the first BKT that we see majority where the local patronized. |
The last stop for the trip is to try the famous Gula Melaka pancake at Daily Fix. Heard from Irene that she wanted to try it the day before but the place is running full house. It is located at the back of a souvenir shop and honestly, who would have thought of such an awesome chill out cafe to be hidden within. I am in fact, impressed by the power of social media that managed to boost the awareness of this cafe despite hidden location. THE NONYA DUMPLING IS SOOOOOOO YUMMY AND WE REGRETTED SPENDING ALL OUR CASH ON SHOPPING AND ENDED UP HAVING LIMITED FUNDS TO TAKEAWAY MORE DUMPLINGS! @-@
