Then PapaTan was looking at Google Map, where to go this time leh? Looking at the East; Desaru, just went there not long ago. Marsiling, unless going Tioman, if not abit no point to go. Looking within 20km, Johor bahru... Just had an staycation there (Forgot to blog about it anyway) last week. Port Dickson, wah the resorts look good, and seems to be a good trip option. *Looking at the playful morris behind PapaTan at the moment, the bubble burst. Maybe shouldn't go Port Dickson first, until the dear BabyTan can walk, swim and play on his own? So finally, decided on Melaka. However, had been to Melaka a few times already, so PapaTan decided to add in a near destination from Melaka, undisturbed by Tourist as it is, Muar.
Hence, began to google about Muar. Actually Muar seems nothing much, only the Glutton Street, and maybe the white structure along the Muar river, where everyone goes there for photo. Looking at the hotels, only three options came up; (1) Traders' hotel by the river; (2) Inn Home Hotel; or (3) Classic Hotel. In the end, we took the Inn Home hotel as (1) the reviews were better; (2) it was just along the Glutton Street; and (3) it oversees the Muar Bridge. Looking at the pricing options available, i took the second grade room, and even the same grade room also had two different pricing, of $2 different. Hoping by paying the $2 difference, i could get a seaview, and here i booked!
Next up, the Glutton Street. Basically, everything was good here, according to many of the blog entries. Muar is famous for its Otak and their Fried Oyster Cake anyway. Let the photos do the talking! Sincere apologies, we did not take alot of photos as it was raining then. But see the overall compilation of food, back at the hotel!
