This is what we needed:
Steamed Pumpkin Pau
Ingredients
300g Hong Kong pau flour
1 tsp baking powder (omitted)
1 tsp instant yeast
30g caster sugar
160ml water
1 tbsp vegetable oil
300g pumpkin paste (see below)
Pumpkin Paste
Ingredient
300g pumpkin (steamed)
30g sugar
1 tsp corn flour
It actually looks a little like the 流沙包 as the pumpkin melts while it is warm. Taste a little sweetness from the pumpkin and it looks very appealing to both kids and adults! |
