Greetings from Mr, & Mrs. TAN! As we head down hotel lobby to return our gowns, we walked past the cocktail area for another wedding today. Time passed so quickly and our special day is over. Haha. Blessed the couples holding their wedding today. Thank you, our special guests for attending. Appreciate it! Travelling to Europe TOMORROW!!!!! Yeap.

The banquet night seems to complete in a blink of seconds, so many things to handle and so little time. With the clock goes tick tok tick tok tick tok and the procedures where makeup | decoration set-up | guestlist | receptionist | dry run | Emcee preparation | March in preparation | ROM preparation requires to be completed at a certain timing. Definitely there are plenty of hiccups in the day event as well.
To take a good example, our ROM ceremony is supposed to hold at the poolside at 6.15pm but unfortunately at 5.45pm, it started to drizzle and our coordinator has allowed us to wait till 6pm for further notice. But the sky did not blessed us with nice blue sky and thus we had to shift to the waterfall lounge for our ROM ceremony. Some of the decorations were requested to shift downstairs but we are glad that the overall environment turn out to be even better than how we have expected. The high ceiling with the decoration is wonderful. Next up when the ROM march in music was wrong but we still had to march in as the guests were waiting but it is long forgotten mistaken. At least i did not fall down when i marched in and i think it is all that matters to a beautiful bride. ***not to trip on the wedding day*** We decided to head for photo-shoot before we head to Paul Sir's house for receiving of the bride as the weather have been rather unpredictable during monsoon season. Thus, we decided to snap while we were blessed with the weather. Totally love the consistent outfit we have prepared for the brothers and sisters, they look awesomely well especially in the group photos. Thank you all for agreeing to our themes. Appreciated :)
And after a year of preparation, it is the special day 28|December|2013, our Finale. This day come by so soon, sooner than one could think of and the countless number of preparation, diys and communication has finally come to an end. The day passes so soon that all we have left with are photographs , videos and memories of what happen on the special day. OH ya, it actually begins at 3.30am where Keith came over my house for the makeup. The usual bridal makeup takes about 2 hours, the sisters are arriving at 5am for preparation while the guys are arriving for gate crash at 6am.
I will say that the morning begins where i was in a blank. To wake up at 3am is a total pain, honest answer. And to start smiling at 5am onwards makes you feel cranky as well but nevertheless, it is our big day and it is finally here. The smile slowly become more natural and less camera-shy. haha :) From the bottom of the heart and here is the photo spam!
The 安床 process involved cleaning up the room, changed to new bedsheet, pillows and put the 安床 items on the bed along with Paul's mom to tidy up the bed a little which symbolizes 安床. Subsequently, Paul is unable to sleep on the bed and he had to pull out a mattress and sleep by the floor.
Thank you for the effort Paul Sir! :) My Hens NIght by the lovely sisters and i think they enjoyed it alot more than i do, especially with those pranks they have designed to embarrass me to the max. After all, it is a fun experience and definitely once in a lifetime exposure and attention that i am getting from the public. LOL
The GDL process went relatively smooth aside from the morning hiccups over at Pine Garden. The floor staff were a little slow in preparing the cakes for collection as they are required to call up and informed the staff upstairs that "so and so" are here for collection, pls bring down the boxes of cakes. After all, it is still a shop front which explains why our boxes of cakes weren't brought down in advance. And yes! We decided to order Pine Garden's Traditional cake after hearing many positive feedback and Mdm Karine loves their lychee martini cake as well. Yum Yum Yum!
Came by our GDL shop in TPY and ready for collection on the items required for GDL ceremony. The man have been really helpful with penning down the notes and procedures for GDL and AD process.
I am really glad he is there to tide us through the tough preparation in wedding. Thank you Paul sir! |
