Paul sir and i have went to Ipoh for my brother's wedding. It is our first Malaysia wedding that we have attended as well. The bus trip to Ipoh takes about 8 hours and there are many stops for you to go for toilet break and stuff. I still feel the coach taken in Japan from Osaka to Tokyo is so much better in terms of designs and comfort level. :) ***Missing Japan*** The celebration started the day before with a buffet at both the bride and groom side but since my brother is a Singaporean, my family traveled over actually joined the bride's family for the celebration as well. The event is so crowded with bride's friends and relative with people coming and going by for this event which is totally unlikely to happen in Singapore. And guessed what, the usual impromptu ME actually went to browse through Msia Groupon and found a great deal for bridal photo-shoot. Tell me how can i miss out on the pretty scenery in Ipoh??? I will say that the day went well with us totally dependable on Thomas - our GPS which we brought from SG to M'sia. And the most challenging thing is for Paul to drive the 10 + years's proton saga. Hahah! The rest of the journey to photo-shoot locations, we are blessed to be guided by our friendly photographer. We had really long awkward drive around Ipoh like we have to take about 30 mins to drive to Kellie Castle with guidance but it is all fun. :)) |
