HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR TO ALL!  恭喜发财,祝大家身体健康,平平安安。

It has been so quick that Lunar Chinese New Year has arrived when we came back from our Honeymoon two weeks back! A quick adapting skill is required to quickly get back on form for work, recovery from the jetlag and of course, spend some time with our dearest friends whom have attended our wedding :)

This year's Lunar New Year is consider special to us as we are attending as married couple and we are required to give red packets as well! How exciting it is to start giving out our blessing to our dearest relatives.  It is also a good time for us to get together from our busy schedule and to update one another on the happenings.

The family reunion dinner held at the Golden Mile Thien Kee steamboat restaurant where father and mother have been missing it for years. Once we started talking about Thien Kee, they will start the topic on how good the rice is and how enjoyable it is to be able to eat satay, chicken rice and steamboat all at one go. This time round, ah gong joined us for the lunch session and that makes the total strength of the day with 11 adults and 2 children. :)

The rice indeed is still as tasty as how we remember it to be but personal view, i felt that the ingredients given is pretty limited and the soup taste is rather bland. All in all, it is still a good meal especially with the loved ones.

DAY 1 of CNY with mother hugging on to her favorite grandchildren while waiting to go to ah gong's house for visiting. The children are growing faster than we could picture and now, they are both standing half the height of mother. We really don't know how long more for them to grow to the height of ours. This is why i always believe that snapping moments are really important. :)

We also went to 大哥's house for reunion dinner where they  have whipped up some good food while we have some family bonding session. The children and the mommies were playing jigsaw puzzles and i have to say, this is way tooooo complicated for the kids to handle on their own. haha, we adults have to spend a little bit of time to sort the puzzle pieces out so that the kids can rotate the piece and fit in the picture nicely. But this definitely one good activity to bond with the precious.

The night was great and we end the night with the usual mahjong sessions with father and mother. :)
