Creative Eyebrow Embroidery @ Perfect Brow House

I have been hearing many of my friends telling me that i need to maintain, shred off the pregnancy weight and be a hot mama. It may sound simple and just like how i have managed to achieve a good 10kg weight loss from controlled diet and exercising during the preparation of our special day 28|December|2013 but who knows that these activities are now such a luxury to a mother. To be honest, my day to day activities during my Maternity Leave actually revolves around my precious son, Morris. At times when he is cranky, i do not even have time to head to the washroom. And well, i believe i am speaking on behalf of all the mommies since it is common across all.

One day it strike my mind that gosh, How am i able to spare the time to put foundation, draw brow, mascara, eyeliner and blusher on a daily basis? I don't even have enough time to rest, let along talk about dressing up.Everyday i rush out of house with a messy bun and look ridiculously tired from the night feed (feeding of Morris during the night). This is definitely a no no when i need to head back to work.
Was discussing this matter with fellow November mommies and the topic about Eyebrow Embroidery pops up. Everyone is raving about how pretty and convenient it is after the embroidery. Mommies have recommended Perfect Brow House for the embroidery service as both the quality and price are pulled factors in comparison to other salons. Seen some of my friend's eyebrow embroidery and it is really very pretty. The strokes were define and looks very real in comparison. So, after much procrastination, i decided to give it a try! (seriously cannot take it that i look so shagged nowadays!)
On the way to Perfect Brow House and i decided to take a couple of selfie as i know my looks will change after the brow embroidery. Kinda nervous about it as i am worried that it will be painful!

shop front extracted from Ms Chuah Bee Ling's blog.
Understand that they have shifted from City Plaza to Paya Lebar Square, unit #02-02. The location is definitely better since it is now located next to MRT station.

Shop front looks simple and cozy, very clean environment. It reminds me a little of how JB salons lookalike decoration though.

Step 1: Removal of all eyebrow makeup to ensure that brows are clean! So yeap, here i am looking pathetic with sparse eyebrows. A photo with Doreen as both of us agreed to go for eyebrow embroidery together!
Picture
Step 2: Drawing the desire shape for you on your eyebrow. As for me, i requested Kelly to draw the one that she feels suitable. And OMG, i was shocked that the initial drawing appeared so thick. She assured me that the actual product will definitely look different.

蜡笔小新是我也! Kelly is very precise with her drawing to ensure that they are proportionally done up.

How it looks like right after doing!

Step 3: Numb cream applied and wait for 30-40 minutes. I have told Kelly that my threshold for pain is low and she requested me to leave the numb cream on for a longer period of time. Look like 白眉道姑一位!

And so it begins! A new blade is specially taken out to begin embroidery for each individual.
To be honest, the process is not painful at all as the numb cream helps quite a fair bit. I can hear the stroking sound on my skin but yet it feels a little like plucking of eyebrow instead. After a couple of strokes, i managed to relax a little and rest while having my eyebrow embroidery done. The whole process takes about 1-2 hours. Kelly is very very meticulous and will do many checks. She even have her staffs to check the brows she do to ensure that it is really good. A perfectionist she is!

And so, this is the end product! Looks so different and i am beginning to love this brow more.

Was given scar cream and was told the following:
  • To apply about 5-6 times a day for the week
  • Keeping the brow moist and try to stay away from water. If touches water, pat dry gently.
  • Try not to touch the brow if possible, do not peel off scabs
  • After-scabbing effect to reduce by about 50% of the thickness.

Day 1 after embroidery, eyebrow do not feel any pain at all. Apparently the color has thicken and Paul Sir says i look like 蜡笔小新 and he cannot stop laughing at me (Annoying much!). The scar cream is a little oily but it helps to moist the eyebrow. Redness has disappeared, cannot really see the strokes clearly in comparison to yesterday though.

Day 1!

Day 5! Start to peel a little and a little bit of patches appeared. Was told to continue to put scar cream!
Picture
Day 3! Eyebrow appeared thicker and really resembles 蜡笔小新!

Day 4 where the brow becomes thicker, remember to put the cream dilligently!
Picture
Day 7! Most of the peeling dropped and i am able to see the defined strokes on my brow!
Picture
Day 9! The peeling is gone and here goes my natural brow! Loving how natural it looks like now!!! No one actually know i did my brow!
As you can see, my brow has lighten quite a fair bit from the embroidery and honestly, it looked soooo natural that no one notice i have done the eyebrow embroidery! In fact, it has been so convenient on a day to day basis! No more time wasted in the morning to draw my brow. Love how define the strokes are!

I will strongly recommend kelly for the service!

Totally love my brow!

Hello there, Your brows looks amazing, especially the shape. And your baby boy is such a cutie - those eyes!

Mm, I'd like the know which eyebrow embroidery you went for? I'm guessing it's the 3D Eyebrow Embroidery?
Also, in the picture with your baby boy, is it after your touch up?

Thank you very much for taking the time to read and reply this! :)
