Compass for the Day
Activity - Rock Climbing
We picked to go for rock climbing, and the queue was nearly an hour. No choice, we have to wait for the free climb. Before the climb, we felt the reception was rude. We were given the ipad and was told to take a read. Just went we were about to take a read to see what is it about, the guy immediately pulled back the ipad. When papaTan asked him what is it about, he just said it is the terms and conditions for the game, and whether we want to read it at all. Before we could reply, he said that if we want to read, the hardcopy is actually pasted at the reception there. We were quite stunned about his attitude, we thought the staffs all were quite friendly one.
Nonetheless, doesn't stop us from trying the rock climbing which we had queued an hour for. There are three walls to climb, and what mamaTan heard from the gamemaster is that the first wall (nearest to reception) is the hardest. Unluckily, both of us were allocated to that wall. If you did not climb high, you could be given the second chance to try again. Once you hit near the first bell and fall, you do not have the second chance. So much for the hour wait =/.
Final Exploration - MamaTan and BabyTan were sleeping in the room!
Gym: Located behind the adult only pool, and is it big.
Viewing of the Bridge: If you want along the open area from the adult only pool, there is a viewing zone into the bridge. You can see the navigation systems and how the captain and his first mate operates the ship.
Free Ice-cream: Located at the right of windjammer (open area), there is a ice-cream vending machine where you can make your free ice cream, with the choice of vanilla or chocolate only.
Club: Located at level 12, there is a premier lounge (i dont know for who) and a club which is opened after ???. From there, you can have a nice view of the pool area.
Chapel: Located at level 13, there is a small chapel. It was empty when papaTan went up, and i think it's worth a visit to see see loook look.
Arcade and kids playarea: Located inside the arcade area, there is actually a kids play area, and programmes for the kids. However, the kids have to be toilet trained, and also you will have to make reservations earlier. We do not know how to make reservations as babyTan was still not suitable for it.
Johnny Rockets: Located outside the arcade. This is a paid area, where you can enjoy burgers and steaks.
Flow-rider: Located near the rock climbing and basketball courts, you can try the flowrider for free. IMHO, if the queue is too long, dont bother. I saw the kid was held by the game master for few seconds, and he fell. Thereafter, his dad requested for the second chance. He was brought to the water and immediately (rudely) let go and fell, within 0.5seconds. There goes your queue for xx minutes.
Mini-golf: Located beside the basketball court. A golf course for the kids.
Dinner - Sapphire Dining Room
Final Show - Magic show by John Taylor
We felt the show was entertaining with its magic and joke (kinda racist sometimes), and recommends for all to catch this show if still available. To note, the studio has two levels, and the upper deck actually has a better view of the stage. But of course, you wouldn't be able to volunteer for the show cuz you are basically too far away.
